UAE Launches 14-Day Grand Tour Programme Covering All Seven Emirates

The UAE is preparing to launch an ambitious new tourism initiative aimed at giving visitors a deeper look into the country’s diverse regions – a 14-day ‘UAE Grand Tours’ programme covering all seven emirates.

Announced during a recent meeting in Abu Dhabi with Minister of Economy and Chairman of the UAE Tourism Council, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the initiative will include a digital platform offering curated travel packages in partnership with local tourism authorities and tour operators. The programme is designed to encourage longer stays and offer a complete experience of the UAE’s cultural, natural, and adventure attractions.

Each tour will include stops across all emirates and feature themed itineraries focusing on family travel, heritage, ecotourism, and adventure, showcasing the full breadth of what the country has to offer.

The UAE Grand Tours programme will also support year-round international promotion, aiming to boost tourism revenues and hotel occupancy rates, which already reached 78% in 2024 – placing the UAE among the global leaders in hospitality.

In a related move, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is progressing on plans for a unified 'GCC Grand Tours' visa, allowing travellers to move freely across Gulf countries, similar to the Schengen model. This initiative is expected to further integrate the region’s tourism offerings and attract more international visitors.
