The project will feature 90 residential units designed around shared courtyards, a central park, and preserved mature trees. Architecture studio DXB Lab drew inspiration from the zoo’s original greenery, reimagining it through clean lines and natural materials. The plan also prioritises walkability and a strong connection to nature.
Residents can expect a wellness area, clubhouse, family pool, gym, children’s play zone, and open green spaces designed for community living. “This is more than a redevelopment; it is a reimagining of a beloved landmark,” said Shamal CEO Abdulla Binhabtoor, calling the project “a space for people to live, connect, and thrive.”
With site preparation now complete, construction is expected to begin soon. The project marks a new chapter for the Jumeirah neighbourhood, one that blends heritage with modern living in a setting rooted in memory.
