Originally started by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, the initiative is about making movement part of everyday life. And this year, DFC will debut a new logo, adding a fresh visual identity to a month that’s become a staple of the city’s calendar.
Highlights for 2025 include returning favourites like the Dubai Run on November 23, which turns a stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road into a jogging track, and the DP World Dubai Ride, happening on November 2. Water lovers can take part in Dubai Stand-Up Paddle on November 8 and 9, while a new large-scale sunset yoga session, titled Dubai Yoga, will round off the challenge.
A morning walk, an evening class, or a quick stretch between meetings, the Dubai fitness challenge is all about building movement into daily life, in ways that feel natural and sustainable. It’s a simple idea, but worked well to shift the rhythm of an entire city.
