Free Wi‑Fi Now Available Across Dubai’s Public Transport Hubs

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed the rollout of free Wi‑Fi at 21 bus stations and 22 marine transport terminals across the city. The initiative, launched in collaboration with e&, aims to provide seamless internet access to commuters on the go.

Passengers can now stay connected during their daily journeys, using smartphones, tablets or laptops to browse, stream or work while waiting for or riding public transport. The service is designed to enhance the overall commuter experience across Dubai’s network.

This move is part of RTA’s broader digital transformation strategy, aligned with the UAE’s vision to build a smarter, more connected society. The goal is to make daily transport more convenient, enjoyable and in step with the city’s innovation goals.

RTA has confirmed that the service will be continuously monitored and upgraded in partnership with e&. Future plans include expanding coverage and improving connection quality, ensuring reliable access for all commuters across the emirate.
