Dar Global, the London-listed developer behind the tower, has appointed Edrafor Emirates to carry out the enabling works for the 80-storey Trump International Hotel and Tower, Dubai. Confirmed in December 2025, the appointment marks the first stage of construction and sets the foundation for what is expected to become a prominent new landmark along Sheikh Zayed Road.
Rising to an estimated height of 350 metres, the tower is planned as a mixed-use address combining five-star hospitality, branded residences and a private members’ club under the Trump name. The development is positioned to appeal to global investors and ultra-high-net-worth buyers, with uninterrupted views towards the Burj Khalifa reinforcing its high-profile location at the gateway to Downtown.
The current phase focuses on technical groundwork rather than visible height. Site preparation will include ground engineering, deep enabling systems and complex logistics – a critical but often unseen stage that allows full vertical construction to begin later. While quiet, this phase is essential to supporting the scale and ambition of the structure above.
Among the headline features planned for the tower are what is being described as Dubai’s highest outdoor swimming pool and two signature penthouses inspired by the original Trump Tower in New York. As execution begins, the project is quickly becoming one of the most closely watched additions to Dubai’s luxury real estate pipeline – another signal of the city’s continued appetite for architectural scale, branded living and global attention.
