Dubai Introduces New Programme Linking Marinas and Restaurants

Dubai has launched a new Dock & Dine initiative aimed at boosting its yachting and dining scene. The programme offers yacht owners seamless access to 20 of the city’s top marinas with free short-term docking and quick reservations at nearby restaurants.

Unveiled on Monday September 1 by the Dubai Maritime Authority in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the scheme makes it easier for yachts to move between marinas within a one-hour sailing radius. Reservations can be made in as little as five minutes, while dedicated dock tenders ensure smooth arrivals and departures.

Participating marinas include Dubai Harbour, Mina Rashid, Creek Marina, Bulgari Marina, Palm Jumeirah Marina, Port De La Mer and Marasi Bay, among others. The process has been standardised across all 20 sites, creating a consistent and hassle-free experience for yacht visitors.

Officials say the initiative strengthens Dubai’s position as a global yachting hub, adding new convenience for vessel owners while supporting tourism growth and the wider economy. For visitors, it promises an effortless way to combine sailing with the city’s expanding waterfront dining scene.
