The upgraded attraction introduces 14 themed zones filled with interactive storytelling, projection mapping, and live mermaid performances set to an original score. More than 1,900 LED panels, 55 high-powered projectors, and over 140 speakers will create an immersive, cinematic underwater experience.
A new optional upgrade – the Interactive Trident – lets visitors unlock hidden content, multi-sensory effects, and secret messages throughout the aquarium. Meanwhile, the 10-metre-deep Ambassador Lagoon will host daily mermaid shows performed by an international team of professional divers.
The redesign also brings a stronger educational focus, with every habitat featuring digital displays that make marine learning engaging and accessible. Behind-the-scenes tours have been updated to highlight animal care and conservation practices.
Home to 430 new marine creatures across 35 species and 19 new habitats, The Lost World Aquarium remains a certified member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Tickets start from Dhs85 for children and Dhs105 for adults, while hotel guests at Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal enjoy complimentary entry.
