Asia Cup 2025 To Be Played In UAE – India vs Pakistan Confirmed

The Asian Cricket Council has announced that the 2025 Asia Cup will be hosted entirely in the United Arab Emirates from 9 to 28 September. The decision follows a venue change from India due to a dispute between the Indian and Pakistani cricket boards.

India and Pakistan have been drawn in the same group alongside Oman and the UAE, guaranteeing at least one high‑profile clash between the two rivals on 14 September. Additional matches could take place between the sides in the Super Four stage and potentially the final.

Group B will feature Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong. All eight teams will play T20 format matches, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Four stage before the final on 28 September.

Venues are yet to be confirmed, but Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi is expected to host key fixtures, including India vs Pakistan. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale once venues are finalised, with pricing expected to be similar to the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this year.
