From 7am to 10am daily, participants can take on 10k, 5k, or 2.5k runs, or join at their own pace for a casual walk. The idea is simple but smart: provide a cool, air-conditioned space for the community to stay active while the summer heat rages outside. Every mall has its own mapped route, with starting points tucked beside familiar cafés and stores for an easy meet-up.
Registration is free and done online, with a digital card granting access to the events. That same card unlocks special offers at select restaurants and shops in participating malls – an extra reason to linger after your run or walk. While casual sessions happen every day, each mall will also host 'main event' races on set dates, drawing in crowds for a bigger fitness buzz.
As Sheikh Hamdan explained, 'With the Dubai Mallathon, we’re turning familiar spaces into places that inspire movement, connection, and better habits. Every step you take moves us closer towards a healthier Dubai.' For a city that loves to think big, this is fitness on a grand scale, and it’s open to everyone.
