Abu Dhabi’s First Night Beach Is Now Open for Summer Swims

You’ve heard of beach days, now get ready for beach nights – Marsana East Beach on Hudayriyat Island has officially opened for after-dark swims, offering a new way to beat the summer heat in the capital. With extended hours and a laid-back vibe, it’s a unique addition to Abu Dhabi’s growing list of summer experiences.

From now until September 30, the beach welcomes visitors after sunset with lifeguard-supervised night swims, luxurious loungers, free towels, and coolers stocked with water – all set against a skyline lit by city lights and cooled by a gentle sea breeze.

Food and drinks can be delivered directly to your spot via QR code, and nearby cafés and restaurants serve everything from gooey grilled cheese to creamy scoops of gelato. The area also features family-friendly entertainment and themed dining offers throughout the season.

The night beach is part of Abu Dhabi’s broader push to create vibrant, accessible community spaces. No matter what you are aiming at: A peaceful evening dip or a casual night out with friends, Marsana East Beach offers a refreshing and atmospheric way to enjoy summer after dark.
