Abu Dhabi to Host 2026 World Triathlon Finals on Hudayriyat Island

Abu Dhabi will welcome the world’s top triathletes in November 2026 as it hosts the World Triathlon Championship Finals on Hudayriyat Island – a landmark event expected to draw athletes and fans from across the globe.

Set over ten days, the championship will include six disciplines and bring together elite competitors and rising stars, alongside an international audience. The event is being organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with Modon Properties and World Triathlon.

Hudayriyat Island, designed as a high-performance sports destination, will offer a scenic and spectator-friendly setting with facilities tailored to both professional athletes and visiting families. Beyond the races, guests can enjoy fan zones, fitness challenges, and interactive events designed to engage the wider community.

As Abu Dhabi continues to position itself as a hub for global sports, the 2026 finals will mark another major milestone, building on the city’s growing reputation for hosting world-class competitions in world-class venues.
